WHY I'M FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO DEFY CANCER
This is my 18th year walking for the Dana Farber Jimmy Fund and I'm so happy that we are finally back to walking together along the Boston Marathon route! Cancer hit my family when I was young, I lost my grandmother to it when I was 8. As each year passed that I walked in this event, I had to add another loved one to the list of "who I walk for". Cancer sadly effects everyone, but it is heartbreaking when a child has to endure it. Cancer is not going away, but we can definitely fight it, we can create treatments, and we can support those who are faced with it. (Where does your money go?)
I'm happily walking 26.2 miles on October 2nd to raise money for Dana Farber. Please consider a small monetary donation to this cause
Those that are diagnosed, need you....those who unfortunately will hear the dreaded 3 little words of "you have cancer", need you. Those children living their childhood in a hospital, need you.
